How Do I Know What Size of Laptop Skin I Need?
Our laptop skins come in a whole host of "standard" sizes. This is different for each manufacturer but is quoted on each individual product (in the size pull-down menu).
To work out what size you need, measure the top of your laptop and choose the appropriate size based on the fit you would like.
A larger laptop skin can be wrapped over your laptops edges or a smaller laptop skin will leave a border. It up to you!
Note that you can always trim (using a craft knife or a rotary cutter) a larger laptop skin to fit your laptop.
How Do I Apply My Laptop Skin?
All our laptop skins are super easy to apply and instructions for application are on the back of the product label.
They are applied in a similar way to a normal sticker but because they are removable (if you make a mistake) you can simply remove your laptop skin and start again.
How Durable Is A Laptop Skin?
Laptop skins are designed to not only look great but also protect the top of your laptop.
All our laptop skins have a durable top coating that will protect the image and allow you to cleanly wipe off any dirt or spill that get on it.
If you get your laptop skin wet, simply wipe it off.
All our laptop skins have been tested under very tough conditions and we are confident that they can hold up to normal handling.
Will The Heat From My Laptop Affect My Laptop Skin?
Your laptop skin will not be affected by the heat.
Many laptops run extremely hot but the majority of this heat is on the bottom of the laptop and studies have shown temperatures up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
Laptop skin are designed for the top of your laptop and are guaranteed to hold up in temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Just to give you a sense of how hot that is, according the US National Burns Center, you would receive 2nd degree burns after touching something at 140 degrees for 5 seconds.
Can I Remove / Re-Use My Laptop Skin?
You bet you can!
Removing your laptop skin is super easy.
Simply make sure your laptop lid is closed and then pull up the laptop skin starting on one side.
The removable adhesive makes removing your laptop skin a cinch.
